


The third painting inspired by a late season walk through the Annapolis Royal Historical gardens in Nova Scotia, I became obsessed by these Hydrangea whose petals were clinging to their stems despite the advanced season. I wanted to honour their beauty clinging to the last of the season.
I hope you feel the lingering warmth of the summer stretching out to it's end.
